Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of shareables.site and related services (the "Service") operated by Shareables ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Shareables lets you draft freeform HTML pages with an AI agent, organize them under your account, and publish them at URLs such as shareables.site/{workspace}/…. Features may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• Workspace slugs and usernames must be available and may not impersonate others or violate applicable law or these Terms.
• You may own up to five workspaces and invite teammates into a workspace (up to three seats including you, counting pending invites). Roles are owner, editor, and viewer.
• Some actions (publishing and marking pages private) may require a verified email address and editor access in the workspace.

3. Your content

• You retain ownership of content you create and upload.
• You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service (including AI drafting tools you invoke and public/unlisted publishing you choose).
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to content you submit and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

4. Publishing and links

• Unlisted pages are accessible to anyone with the link.
• Private pages are restricted to signed-in members of the workspace.
• You decide what to publish. Do not publish unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or illegal content
• Scrape or overload the Service in ways that harm other users
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a deceptive way
• Use the AI agent to generate content that violates applicable law or these Terms

6. AI-generated output

Agent output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing pages before publishing or relying on them. The Service does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

7. Third-party services

Sign-in may use Google, GitHub, or other providers under their terms. AI generation, hosting, storage, and email may rely on third-party infrastructure. Your use of those providers is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete or disable access to your content subject to our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAREABLES AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Shareables against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
