Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Shareables ("we", "us") handles information when you use shareables.site and related services (the "Service").

1. Who we are

Shareables is operated by the team behind shareables.site. Contact: hello@shareables.site.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — email address, name, username, workspace memberships and invites, profile image (if provided by you or an identity provider), and password hash if you sign up with email/password.
  • Authentication data — when you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile details those providers share with the Service (typically email, name, and avatar).
  • Content you create — drafts, published HTML pages, project names, chat messages with the authoring agent, and related metadata (titles, slugs, visibility, timestamps).
  • Usage and technical data — approximate logs such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.

3. How we use information

  • Provide accounts, authentication, and the studio / home index.
  • Store, render, and publish your shareables at your chosen URLs.
  • Run the AI authoring agent on content you submit, so pages can be drafted and revised.
  • Send transactional email (for example, email verification).
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations when required.

4. AI processing

When you use the authoring agent, prompts and related page context may be sent to third-party model providers (for example via Vercel AI Gateway) to generate or edit HTML. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal data you are not comfortable processing with those providers.

5. Publishing and visibility

  • Unlisted published pages are reachable by anyone with the URL. We apply noindex headers, but a link can still be shared.
  • Private published pages are only served to signed-in members of that workspace.
  • Drafts remain accessible to your account through the Service APIs.

6. Sharing with service providers

We use infrastructure and vendors to run the Service, which may include:

  • Hosting and deployment (e.g. Vercel)
  • Databases and file storage (e.g. Neon, Vercel Blob)
  • Authentication (Auth.js / OAuth providers you choose)
  • Email delivery (e.g. Resend, when configured)
  • AI model providers used for authoring

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Cookies and sessions

We use session cookies and similar technologies required for sign-in and security. The personal command bar only appears when you have a valid Shareables session.

8. Data retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting hello@shareables.site. Some logs may be retained for a limited period for security and compliance.

9. Your choices

  • Update account details and username through the Service.
  • Choose page visibility (unlisted or private) before or after publish.
  • Disconnect OAuth access via your Google or GitHub account settings.
  • Request access or deletion by emailing us.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International transfers

The Service may be hosted in the United States or other regions where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in those locations.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, when changes are material, take additional steps as appropriate.
